About Us
The Sikh Center of Orange County (SCOC) has been a cornerstone for the Sikh community in Orange County since its establishment in 1990. In the 1980s, a small group of five Sikh families began gathering in their homes for Kirtan and religious services. As the community grew, these families united to raise funds, and in 1990, they purchased and converted a church in Santa Ana into the SCOC Gurdwara. Over the years, the center has expanded to serve over 700 families, providing a space for spiritual growth, cultural education, and community service.
The SCOC remains committed to Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings, promoting equality, selfless service, and truthful living.
